We have an exciting opportunity for a UK & ROI Communications and Marketing Manager to be based out of a Trescal Branch within the UK.

What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as the UK & ROI Communications and Marketing Manager you will be expected to support and drive effective marketing and communications activity, both internally and externally. This includes creating consistent and compelling messaging, deploying effective marketing tools, creating copy for social media, ensuring laboratory branding, and coordinating information-sharing across Trescal’s global communications network.

Your key responsibilities will also include:

Internal communications in line with corporate governance

  • Manage laboratory branding, from audit to suppliers to sign-off, including site visits when necessary (key to Trescal success) following Group governance
  • Drive internal communications initiatives to promote Trescal as a great place to work, including creating opportunities for large-scale interaction and content on internal channels (newsletter and intranet)
  • Organise and prepare employee events
  • Order Trescal branded items for internal and external stakeholders
  • Other duties to be determined as required

External communications / Social media

  • Partner with sales & technical teams to create marketing collateral (brochures, presentations, white papers) for offer launches and update them as necessary, finding new topics to continue client engagement
  • Co-ordinate the editorial, design, production and dissemination of marketing publications
  • Manage and contribute to social media, including group editorial calendar (LinkedIn)
  • Draft external press materials, including press releases and pitch letters following Group governance
  • Collaboratively manage and co-ordinate update of Trescal UK and ROI website, manage SEO & SEA campaigns
  • Co-ordinate the design of artwork for UK and ROI documentation, banners, exhibition displays, adverts, vehicles graphics
  • Ensure laboratory, vehicle and apparel branding in line with Group governance at all times and rebranding process with acquisition/moves
  • Produce email marketing campaigns for clients
  • Organise and prepare, client events (including open houses & training sessions), trade shows & seminars as needed
  • Other duties to be determined as required

Our ideal Communications and Marketing Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Communications & Media, Marketing, Advertising or a related field preferred
  • At least 3+ years of experience in marketing and/or communications
  • Experience in the calibration field or another technical industry would be appreciated
  • Excellent project manager who can coordinate key stakeholders to deliver projects on-time and on-budget
  • Demonstrated ability to generate creative ideas, shape stories, be a trusted resource for internal stakeholders and media, and drive execution for full-scale communications programs
  • Extremely strong writing and editing skills, with ability to write effective external communications materials, including press releases, key messages, video scripts, bylines and blog posts; proficient in AP style
  • Familiarity with content strategy, SEO, analytics tools, website contribution and other marketing technology
